The Baccarat Table

The classic baccarat table is shaped like a large figure-8. At either curved end are numbered spaces at which up to 14 betters can sit or stand, number 1 through 15 to avoid the unlucky number 13. Marked above each number on the table are places for each better to place their bets, on the Player, the Banker, or a Tie (see The Rules).

One one side of the table’s center is a squared-cornered cut-out area in which stand two Dealers, each of whom looks after the bets on one end of the table. Opposite them, a Caller stands in a curved area on the other side of the table’s center position, overseeing the action, calling the results of the hands dealt, and directing play of the cards as it passes from person to person seated around the table.

Mini-Baccarat
A Mini-Baccarat table resembles a seashell-shaped poker table. Marked positions along its large curved edge indicate numbers places for up to 7 betters, each with its corresponding places to bet on the Player, the Bank, or a Tie. One person works the table from its short edge, serving as both the Banker and the Dealer.
